The big guy did a great job in his first NFL start.  He is already in the record books with his 422 yard passing  performance (24 of 37, 2 TD).  

His Panthers lost, 28-21 to the Arizona Cardinals (Sep 11, 2011).  But the naysayers on Cam Newton's NFL potential may have to take a back seat to those who predict greatness for the number one draft pick.

I think he will be around for a long time.  And he will add a few more entries into the record books.
