Personally, I was hoping Alabama could hang on to the number two spot in the polls, just based on how the game was played; in fact, Alabama played a better game except for the missed field goals. But I understand the new polls and so we live with it. There are still games to be won (and lost).
Alabama is ranked #3 in the BCS poll, just ahead of Stanford and behind Oklahoma State. In the Associated Press poll, Alabama is placed #4, and below Stanford. Oklahoma State is #2 in both polls.
I would like to see Stanford or Boise State scoot on up to #2. What I did like was that Alabama didn't fall all that far.. It always bothered me that if the #1  teams played.. and the #2 team lost that suddenly they were #23 or something.. aren't you expected to LOOSE to the #1 team?
